How Can AccuStat Help Your Medical Office?

Our highly-skilled consultants have years of medical experience. We work with medical facilities by performing an assessment of their current workflow, cost constraints and functionality needs of an EMR system as well as asking why they are switching to an EMR and what they hope to get from the transition. We then “skinny” down the list of EMR systems based upon the information that we receive from the client in our assessment and set up demonstrations for the client that will be performed by our consultants or by the EMR company themselves. After all demonstrations are complete, AccuStat consultants perform a second assessment of what qualities they liked and disliked of each system that they viewed. Through many discussions with the EMR companies and the clients, a decision is made based upon the client’s needs, stability of the EMR company, and support quality. AccuStat consultants then work with the EMR company to determine any/all hardware needs that the client will require to implement their software. AccuStat works with hardware manufacturers to obtain competitive quotes for the required items. A final quote for all hardware and software is then taken to the client. Once initial payments are made AccuStat makes sure that hardware is purchased and installed; software is installed on the hardware and then ensures that all systems are working properly. Once the hardware and software are installed and working properly, AccuStat will train the medical staff (knowledge of the systems to train the staff is obtained by the EMR companies when partnering is entered). Training will take up to two weeks usually, depending on the size of the staff needing to use the system. AccuStat then provides full support for all networking and hardware installed as well as first-level support for the software installed. What this means to the client is that if there is ever a problem, they only have one number to call instead of having to call the computer manufacturer for computer issues, EMR company for software issues and so on.

To complete our consultation package, AccuStat has also partnered with over 30 hardware and networking manufacturers; names like Dell, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Fujitsu, Sony, Cisco, D-Link and many, many more. Through these partnerships, AccuStat is able to purchase their products at significant discounts for our clients. When a medical facility transforms from a paper to a paperless environment, computers, printers, scanners, routers, tablet PCs and much more are all required. Instead of a facility purchasing the hardware themselves by reading a paper with confusing specifications on it from the software company, AccuStat provides that service for them. Many of the hardware manufacturers have also agreed to provide AccuStat with additional discounts to our already-low discounts because we are working with the medical field. This gives the client the opportunity to save lots of money with their purchasing.
